The C.A. JOSEPH COMPANY was founded by Charles (Chuck) Joseph in 1975. The
initial business conducted by the C.A. Joseph Co. was, and still is,
fabricating mausoleum parts. The Company entered into the market in 1975 and
evolved into what it is today. |
| After
starting the mausoleum business, the decision was made to start a machine shop.
After purchasing various machines for the operation, it was realized more space
was needed. A new building consisting of 7,300 sq. ft. was built to house the
expanded machine shop in Calcutta, Ohio. |
| In the fall of
1993, a second building was purchased consisting of 30,000 sq. ft. located in
Irondale, Ohio. The Company's first burning table was purchased and installed.
With continual growth, in 1996, a second burning table was purchased. Along
with the burning work, fabricating and welding are also available. |
| In 1996,
the Company entered the computer age. A computer was purchased for the Irondale
office offering customers the most up-to-date technology available. Currently
AutoCAD LT is being used.
|
| In 1999,
the Company once again expanded with the addition of three new buildings at the
Irondale location. The first building consists of 30,000 sq. ft., has two 25
Ton Overhead Cranes and is used for warehousing. The second building consists
of 9,000 sq. ft. The third building consists of 6,000 sq. ft. The latter two
buildings are used for storage at this time. |
